More than 50 malware apps has removed from the Android Market by Google. Android malware has cropped up from time to time in third-party app markets which was not managed by Google. This marks the first time malware has made it into the official Android Market so much. Google confirmed that it had removed a number of apps from the Android Market that violates its policies and is expected to issue a statement on the matter soon.In the most recent version of Android, 2.3 or "Gingerbread Google has patched those vulnerabilities. But very few phones have been updated to Gingerbread, so most Android devices are susceptible to the trojan horse.
If short of installing Gingerbread, company refers to use Symantec to protect your phone from malware.
